Can SCG offer a [insert format here] side event at the Invitational Weekend?

Invitational Weekend attendees are welcome to gather with friends to organize a Magic: The Gathering event featuring any format, as long as they:

  1. Do not require anything in exchange for entry into the event
  2. Do not offer or award any sort of prize
  3. Do so in a way that does not disrupt any aspect of the Invitational Weekend.

If you can find eight players who wish to play in an event featuring a format not supported by the Magic: The Gathering Tournament Rules, we will be happy to offer such as a casual, 8-player On-Demand Event. Please note that the use of playtest cards is still not permitted in such events.
